Hi there!
Hope you are well during this COVID-19 pandemic. As we are going through tough times, we have to be grateful that we are still alive. I know it sucks to obey the safety protocols, but it is better than getting the disease.
Also, on a positive side, this is your time to be closer to your family and your other one!
Without further ado, please enjoy my second issue!

Roam Research is a new note-taking application which brands itself as “a note taking tool for networked thought. The power of this note-taking app is the bi-directional links between notes. It is very powerful when you unlock its full potential.
I have been using Roam for quite a while. I was one of the beta user, but never really try to learn further to use Roam. I tried other note taking app, but there is just something in Roam that clicks with me. I give Roam another shot and let’s see where it brings me. Below is a great starting articles and videos if you want to learn how to use Roam.

[#Article] Complexity Convection By Sidhartha Jha and Nathan Baschez
A powerful article about the cycle of a business. A business is established to solve a specific needs. Dilemma appears when they want to cater to a whole other demographic. More people use the products, the needs shift, thus creating a complexity convection.
Gojek is once a ride-hailing application. Focusing on assisting user to find Ojek as transportation. Now, it brands itself as a super app, where Gojek is a solution for all of your every day needs, i.e. food, medicine, utility payments, etc.
An interesting question rise from this example, should a business focus and master only one thing? Or should it cater more people at the expense of specialty?
[#Article] Why People Cooperate by David Perell
This article discuss why people cooperates when they want to maintain a long term relationship. If they think is going to be a single time interaction, people tend to not cooperate.
A great quote by Robert Axelrod:
"The great enforcer of morality in commerce is the continuing relationship, the belief that one will have to do business again with this customer, or this supplier, and when a failing company loses this automatic enforcer, not even a strong-arm factor is likely to find a substitute… if the other player is not likely to be seen again, defecting right away is better than being nice.”

[#Article] 10 Signs Your Life is Probably Better Than You Think It Is by Ayodeji Awosikka
A powerful article to change your perspective on how you see life. Improving yourself to your best potential is a good thing, however you should also be grateful with what you have right now.
I suffer from this dilemma. I try to be the best of everything, without realising what I want is already in front of me. Have a balance life, and be grateful with what you have. Enjoy the journey, and just have fun.
I have enough. I am enough. You have enough. You are enough. You’re caught in comparison traps. Just chill. Your life isn’t that bad. You have good things in your life. - Ayodeji Awosikka
